i2Canada Form Filler — Chrome extension

Last updated: 9 August 2026

i2Canada is a Canadian immigration consultancy. The i2Canada Form Filler is an internal tool for our own staff. It is not a consumer product: it can only be used by a person who already holds an i2Canada staff account, and it only ever shows data belonging to the cases that person is assigned to.

What the extension does

When a member of our staff opens a client's IRCC application page and clicks Fill this page, the extension reads the labels and field types on that page (for example "Family name", "Date of birth") and sends them to our own server at portal.i2canada.com, together with the case the staff member selected. The server answers with the values already held in that client's intake questionnaire, and the extension types them into the page.

The extension never submits an application. Every field is filled for a human to review, and the staff member presses IRCC's own Save or Next button themselves. Where we hold no real answer for a field, it is left empty — nothing is invented.

What is stored on your computer

The extension does not read, collect or transmit your browsing history, your other tabs, your bookmarks, or any page outside the IRCC application pages listed in its manifest.

Personal information of clients

The client data the extension displays — names, dates of birth, addresses, family details, education, and work history — is information our clients have already given us themselves, through our own intake questionnaire, for the purpose of preparing their immigration application. The extension does not create any new collection of personal information; it moves information we already hold onto the government form it was collected for.

Where that information goes

We do not sell personal information, we do not use it for advertising, we do not share it with data brokers, and we do not transfer it to any party other than those named above and the Government of Canada, to whom the application itself is submitted.

Keeping it safe

Keeping and deleting information

Client files are kept for as long as we are required to keep them as a regulated immigration consultancy, and are deleted after that. A client may ask us at any time what we hold about them, ask for a correction, or ask for their file to be deleted, subject to the record-keeping we are legally obliged to maintain.
